Re: Soto...How's Lavar?...Is He O.K.?

Dear Sotapanno,

Some people of advanced age need not suffer these symptoms at all. A deficiency of vitamine B12 is a very frequent cause of these symptoms, so it is more than worth it to check his blood. Als a simple multivitamine can help, believe me. I went through this with both my parents, who are functioning perfectly. Alzheimers can't be cured, but most of the tiome there are other causes.

Send him my love.

Love and peace,

I'm sorry to hear about Lavar.  I will send him much positive energy and love.  And I agree with gyro.  Nutritional supplementation can help, but you really need to do a full scale blood workup to see what is really going on.  The alzheimer's thing tends to be the universal label for much of the mental breakdown with the elderly.  Other things are involved, too, hence the indepth look at one's health, if that person is up to it.  smile

Re: Soto...How's Lavar?...Is He O.K.?

Dear Sotapanno,

Although a real dementia can't be cured or ameliorated there are a few factors that can greatly influence cognitive functioning. A blood test for vitamine B12 should be done, because a deficiency of this vitamine will greatly influence these symptoms, as will a deficiency of folic acid. Also, vitamin D can play an important part in this symptomatology. It might be wise to check for these things.

Love and peace,
