ufo over my house?

Hey guys just wanted to show you something. I was playing with google earth this morning checking out the 3d street feature of my house when I thought I would pan up to see if I saw anything as I have seen others do. Imagine my surprise when I saw this... The odd thing was, if I went a click back, it wasnt there, if I went a click forward it had moved over the house next door. If I went a couple clicks down to see where it should have gone there was nothing to be seen. I dont know how google takes those pics, but it was kind of weird. I went all around the neighborhood trying to find it but it only came up in those two places. The footage in the video is just from the one in front of my house. I didnt discover the rest until after I made the video... what do you think?

Re: ufo over my house?

Hi Yig,

the first couple of frames in that video show chemtrails, three of them to be exact. I'm wondering if the UFO was there to monitor the chemtrail situation.

It has been said that the occupants of these UFOs are just our future/higher selves and so all you were doing is looking at yourself, looking at you--in two separate dimensions. Ha ha, yeah, that's some thought provoking stuff which is difficult to wrap the ol' brain around. smile

Thanks for sharing the video. I don't see any conventional craft nor do I see a bird figure... seems like a genuine UFO sighting to me... of which, I've seen quite a few myself.

Re: ufo over my house?

I'm intrigued yig. Why do you say it is definitely not a bird? Bearing in mind the cameras are focused on the immediate vicinity, I think it is probably either a bird or even a fairly distant helicopter, but out of focus, so you lose the detail of wings or blades etc. Might also explain why it had gone by the time the next set of pictures were processed, especially if a small finch-like bird which flies quite quickly.

And Christo my old friend, I think you'll find your "chemtrails" are out-of-focus power or telephone cables strung around the place.

Sorry to be the "wet blanket", but it is hard enough to find convincing photographic evidence of alien craft without promoting stuff that is clearly very doubtful. I spend far too much time looking into reports of such sightings from often well intentioned people, only to find they are blurred insects, high flying geese, low-flying herons, Chinese lanterns, solar balloons or natural phenomena of some kind. Unidentified flying objects? Yes, but only in the eye of the beholder. Alien technology? Very rarely, unfortunately. I am not saying they don't exist or, even, that they aren't among us, just that they need to be a lot more convincing than a distant blurry blob to pass muster.

Re: ufo over my house?

A second look at the video reveals that you are correct in your assessment of the chemtrails actually being power lines--as the line spacing is consistent with cables which are strung on poles where the center cable will position to one side or the other of the top of the pole, leaving it unevenly spaced in relation to the outer two lines. Plus, the second viewing also revealed that the lines themselves are much too dark to be chemtrails, for chemtrails are not solid and therefore cannot cast a shadow line on the underside... it's that dark shadow line that should have clued me in because I've seen more chemtrails than I can count.

As to the UFO sighting... I'm letting my reasoning be that 'it could be a UFO' because of my personal experiences of witnessing UFOs in the skies in clear, broad daylight. The smaller of the shuttle craft type look very much like that as depicted in the video. In all actuality, it could be anything, but me likes the thought that it may very well be a UFO... I mean it could be right? wink

UFO! UFO! UFO! ha ha...

Re: ufo over my house?

You're right, Christo, it is definitely an Unidentified Flying Object in that whatever it is, it is clearly flying and none of us really have a clue what it actually is! Ergo UFO

As a matter of interest, a similar find was made recently on the Google Street shots in part of London. A cluster of nine very blurred  "UFOs" could be seen crossing the sky above the rooftops, but the fact that they were in a neat formation gave a clue as to their identity. It transpired that on the day the Google camera was deployed, there had been a military flypast over London, as there occasionally is. We are always celebrating something. At least two of the constituent parts of that flypast had involved flights of nine aircraft, which would have been held in a holding pattern awaiting their turn to take part. However, even though explained, you will still find references to the "flight of nine alien craft" that allegedly flew across a suburb of London, from people who really should know better. And so it has passed into ufology lore.....never to be extinguished and destined to be constantly resurrected as an example of alien technology. And they wonder why people poke fun at anybody who sees a flying saucer. Still, not long now and they'll be laughing on the other side of their faces...... wink

Re: ufo over my house?

Thanks for your replies my friends. Like I said, I discovered this on google earth. I did that a couple days ago now, and clearly google took that picture sometime in the late summer early fall. I am just curious though as to one thing. If google took the pic of the street or however it does it. wouldnt it seem like you could go down the street and look back and still see it from the other side? and why cant I see it if I take one step back on the google? take a step forward and it had moved. take a few and look back and it isnt there. Do you have any idea how google actually takes these pictures?

Yes it could very well be a bird, I suppose I shouldnt have been adament about it not being one, but the second shot I didnt post which had a bit of a different angle to it still showed a circular "something." Lol I spend tons of time watching youtube ufo videos as well, so I know what you mean about all the yada yada out there. Still though, I was surprised to see that when I was truely expecting nothing, and it made me feel good to hope at least!

I follow the thought of it could be me looking at me as well, as I do tend to think along those lines, lol so you didnt lose me there! Maybe just maybe, as I have been so dilligent in my search, they or I did give myself a peek to let me know I am on right track at least! peace my friends

Re: ufo over my house?

You're definitely on the right track, yig, if only because you are clearly looking around you. None of us spend enough time looking at the sky.... probably because we tend to fall flat on our face when we do. But it is worth taking time out to just stand and stare, day or night, at some of the wonders that pass above us, invariably unseen by the majority. Welcome to the minority!

If it makes you feel any better, this link will take you to a well known report in the UK a while back. People got very excited about it.

Believe it or not, it is a Herring Gull, though it still gets regularly dragged out of the files and portrayed as a classic "Flying Saucer" UFO. You just have to catch the bird at the right attitude of flight and, of course, out of focus. Bingo! There's a UFO......, but don't give up, there are strange craft crossing our skies.. smile

Re: ufo over my house?

That is certianly a very fat gull! I looked very close and can see what your saying... maybe mine was just a fat pidgeon! Seem you follow footage as well.. have you seen this one? I prefer the space footage, seems harder to fake, even though it can be, just cant beleive all the footage on this video is bs.
