Here is a link to an interview which has detailed information confirming our governments orders to shoot down all UFOs within 250 miles of the earths surface. The part that refers to this is 30minutes:30seconds into the interview.
The primary weapon used is partical beam technology first invented by Tesla. This kind of "Star Wars" technology isn't that "far out", a form of it is used to etch the circuits of a computer's CPU die/core.
While I realize the Air Force may have a no tolerance policy regarding UFOs, I doubt a jet's missles could hit most UFOs(not that they wouldn't try). The best way counter the perceived UFO "threat" would be to use a ground based particle beam weapon systems, not only to hit their targets but to limit any evidence of an attack having taken place. There is likely two simple rules used to activate this weapon system #1 Any object tracked coming from space #2 Any object seemingly coming out of nowhere, especially if there is a gravity distortion signature detected. Not sure if there is much if any "friend or foe' filtering of UFOs being done. I have a feeling any species on the governments friend list is not currently flying openly in our skies. Typically its the ones that want public awareness of themselves that are considered a threat. And of course there is a percent of them who are just exploring, it is especially tragic when these get shot down. They are probably less common species who may have no idea of the current affairs surrounding Earth.
Also discussed in the interview is our government's BFG(anyone who has played 3rd person shooter games should know what this acronym stands for!) Is our government also willing to shoot down larger craft entering our solar system? How itchy is their trigger finger? One reason to use the moons of Jupiter as a firing test range is to show what our BFG is capable of. Any ships entering our solar system would most likely use the planets to shadow their approach from Earth's view and Jupiter is a VERY big planet!

On TV(SCIENCE Made declarations for example on NATIONAL GEOGRAPHIC TV ETC. ETC.) And on NATIONAL GEOGRAPHIC TV they said " Now science is only hoping for A MIRACLE"

So, 'aries' are you this MIRACLE?;....
