Are you impatient about the ascension progress?

I for one would be the first one to admit that often I am. And I get the impression that I am far from alone. However, sometimes I do question whether I should be impatient, and more recently I am coming more and more to the conclusion that I should not be.

As I was coming to this conclusion I somehow picked up Eckhart Tolle's The Power of Now book (a book which inspired one of Amethyst’s posting on the General items sub-forum). The book opened on page 108-109 and I was drawn towards the end of page 109, which reads as follows:

“It is quite possible to be conscious of the Unmanifested throughout your life. You feel it as a deep sense of peace somewhere in the background, a stillness that never leaves you, no matter what happens out here. You become a bridge between the Unmanifested and the manifested, between God and the world. […….]

Don’t get the impression that the Unmanifested is separate from the manifested. How could it be?”

So I guess one of the main things we are in fact waiting for is ourselves. When the 100th monkey theory kicks into effect, maybe we should ensure that we are one of the ‘100 monkeys’. To a large extent I believe what is holding us back is plain boredom/unhappiness. Which in turn is a sign that we are too caught up in Maya/Illusions. When we feel bored, and in turn unhappy, it would serve us to choose to focus on something joyful. Not only in terms of thoughts but, probably more importantly, also in terms of actions. Joy is the sign from our Soul that we do something which serves our Soul. So, with reference to the play Gigi, rather than the mindset “Life is a bore”, it is better to adopt the mindset “Life is a ball”. You are on this journey, so you might as well enjoy the ride!

This also gets me to think of the often quoted phrase ‘Go within or go without’. Or, along similar lines, to re-coin one of Shakespeare’s most famous sayings: “To be or not to be, therein lies the answer”.

Getting more specifically back to the topic of ascension, as well as not being in the now while we feel impatient, being impatient about something sends out a message to the Universe of lack. And guess what happens. Lack manifests in our life………. SO CHOOSE DIFFERENTLY!!

One of my own favorite quotes is from my favorite teacher (as featured on http://ramtha.com )

"So we have consciousness and energy and a brain, and the resulting pattern is called mind. And mind is as vast as it perceives itself to be or as small as it perceives itself to be. If the mind gets so lofty that it feels alienated by the crippled reality around it, it will not operate here anymore; it will be beyond it. And that is what Christ was all about." - Ramtha

I have stated, I believe, already on this forum in whatever words I used at the time - while that which will be how that known now as NESARA is as yet Unmanifest - there is the greatest freedom to each individual in thier life...
For while yet unmanifest, each individual may percieve it as they wish - AND make thier moment to moment thoughts, words, actions, attitudes and dreams rule thier own lives to be as 'Vast' as their minds can concieve.

Once that which is now known as NESARA becomes a Demonstrated Manifestation on this plane:
That is to say - Once all the mind creations have formulated to the point where the field is saturated enough to take whatever materialized form that is at the point possible:
It will have become a 'Past"

All creation begins with Mind
and that manifested in any specific Now is the demonstration  of Is which indeed is the nourishing Mother Goddess of Isis (is is - noun to verb) becomes itself a thoughtform which feeds thoughtform
however when the thoughtforms are fed only by the yearnings and dreams and creative thoughts emenating from the Idea Imaginative mind rather than the Manifested Form which traps and imprisons so many - the greatest of potentials still vie for precedence of attention.

I do agree that life itself will change when that which is now known as NESARA becomes a Demonstrated Manifestation on this plane, but additionally many individuals are going to have to be hard pressed to change individually also due to the new "reality" in which they will exist

But there will be those who have been already operating in an uncrippled beyond
the field of Creative Mind
and as the new situations reveal many things already manifest that have been kept under wraps (in our already existant 'Past') by those who presume to call themselves our leaders
there are going to be many waiting now to be 'taken care of' that are going to Have to reconfigure thier own Self to be able to function in the new Now

I have stated many times even in this forum that I myself have been waiting a long time for the things that I percieve as inevitable
yet even I am well aware that the chaos of  change brings needs for greater efforts

but indeed all around me I am seeing this chaos of change already permeating our realms
and I am indeed striving and adventuring to become a more usefull individual in what I see as opening around me

I do believe that this ascension anxiety people are experiencing is because of this 'waiting' for things like the 2012 events etc.  They may come and they may go in the blink of an eye.  So what and what then anyway?  WAITING never serves anyone and just creates boredom anyway.  Waiting is not really living 'cause it's just no fun to be a fence sitter when the action is on the front lines.  We are all on our own path toward ascension.  We're all at different levels of consciousness so for those who are waiting for the grand 'masters' to show up on earth to then 'show' you how to ascend...good luck.  This group ascension pow wow ain't going to happen.  Ascension must be earned and experienced at an individual level.  Sorry, but no group rates.   Live your life NOW and never wait for anything.  You have all you need to know to get going with your own individual ascension.  Get on the path now and do what you need to do to get to the Christ Consciousness.  It may take an entire lifetime but DO get on the horse NOW and get going.  Waiting is for the bored who have nothing better to do.  What a waste of precious time and consciousness.  smile

genniii, I really like your conception of active waiting for Nesara.  We kicked this idea around before on that wonderful super long thread you started in this section titled "I've been waiting a long time" posted in what was then the Nesara Believer's Only section.  Have you noticed that thread is now up to 2,158 views.

"...waiting a long time for the things that I percieve as inevitable...yet even I am well aware that the chaos of change brings needs for greater efforts"

It's a useful reminder as we discussed on the marathon thread that there is a difference between active and passive waiting.  As you mentioned active waiting requires "greater efforts" even for the "inevitable".  A paradox.

I can't quite remember genniii how how you phrazed the concept of time, the now and the future and past merging into the now in the context of active waiting.

I love Emily Dickinson's poem:

"I sing to use the Waiting"
My Bonnet but to tie
And shut the Door unto my House
No more to do have I

Till His best step approaching
We journey to the Day
And tell each other how We sung
To Keep the Dark away.

We see this in the driver combing her hair while driving to work, or the guy shaving (Yes- I saw this my self - a guy shaving with an electric shaver whilst driving!).

I had to post this 'cause this morning, while taking my kids to school I saw an older gentleman in a pick up truck driving down the raod while shaving with an electric shaver.  I had to do a double take to make sure I was seeing right.  If that doesn't beat all.  Looks like you're right, Sota.  'Busy' IS the order of the day.  Looks like this guy needs help with time management.  Go figure.  Just hope he doesn't wrap himself around a telephone pole while he's shaving.
