Thank you.  That was clear.  I was thinking it must be a more complicated procedure than simply asking in prayer.   Your statement that coincidence or random thoughts might actually be the answer to our requests was also helpful. 

And finally, we need to be "willing to receive and accept what is given".  I can see if we're secretly ambivalent on a request, it wouldn't come through. 

I was also reminded of the wisdom of adding the Wicca disclaimer, in addition to thanks, to the request.  **For the good of all, and according to free will & receptivity of all, and so it must be.**   After all, if the request was for increased money, one wouldn't want the money to come from insurance because your mother was killed in a car accident.  (For the good of all).  .
