What you are about to read are three of the more or less basic guidelines that will make communicating with those onboard the Starship Capricorm easier (on them) and much more beneficial (to us).
The first thing to realize is that they they have known for some time that there is but one (entity) that is responsible for the creation of The Universe. They have also known, for an equal amount of time, that this one, unknowable (at least to our limited imaginations) entity is the only entity worthy of our worship and praise.
When first contact is made there will be at least a few who will want to place those onboard the Starship Capricorn on pedistals and/or worship them as gods. Please do not do this. Not only will it potentially derail your spiritual progress but it will make their jubs all that much harder because they will have to work through all of the emotional garbage that comes with being placed upon some kind of pedestal to get anything done. They, when they arrive, will be here to help clean up the planet and help us move into the next phase of our spiritual development. Please do not make it any harder on them than it has to be.
The second thing I would like you to consider is something I am fairly certain the crew of the Capricorn has known for quite some time as well. Many or our churches and religious organizations set aside at least one day a week as a devotional of sorts. I don't suppose there is really anything wrong with this but if we truly wish to "worship" Our Creator then we should dedicate our lives to helping others grow intellectually, emotionally and spiritually stronger and move towards a more or less complete reunification with that entity most commonly referred to as either God or Allah. The purer your hearts the easier this task will be and the less will be your need for the setting aside of a day for worship.
The reason this understanding is important to the people onboard the Starship Capricorn is because most of them will want to work seven days a week. This will not set well with any number of our church "leaders" and will earn those onboard the Capricorn (and other ships) the condemnation of our religious learders. Don't be fooled by those whose hearts have been darkened by their experiences in this world. Do everything you can to work with and learn from the "aliens". Do not worship them but work with and try to learn from them. This will make their job a lot easier.
The third thing I would like you to consider is that we are little more than filters through which the "magic" of Creation passes. The thing about it is is that we are responsible for the shape our filters take. This is so because ourt filters are directly influenced by the choices (both large and small) we make on a daily basis. These choices influence not only what we are capable of doing but how we perceive the world and the events around us. I really do feel sorry for those who have closed their minds to any number of possibilities because the arrival of the shuttles will be a major shock to their systems. If you truly wish to work with those who have come to help them please, try to keep an open mind.

I think you are making way too many assumptions based on this "first contact" process.
Here is keeping an open mind...
(1) Not assuming you know what the First Contact will entail
(2) Expecting any wide variety of possibilities concerning how aliens will choose to appear to us, and when
(3) Not limiting what you assume about "starships" to what you hear from channellers
(4) Not living your life as if the "first contact" is the most important thing...because many of us have died, and many, many, many, many more will die with out "first contact" ever happening. Will you have lived a fulfilled life? Will you be disappointed on your death bed when the "first contact" hasn't happened?
Having an open mind is accepting that anything is possible. How critical that "event" or occurrence may be, depends on your attachment to it and dependance on it.
I have said it before. Even though I think all this Starship and Helena is a bunch of hooplah....the real aliens won't give us the time of day, in my opinion...until we get things together down here.
Standing around talking about how we are going to behave once it does happen is a waste of time. You want to talk about step 100, and we are stuck on step 3 and a half.

Please realize, The_Thinker, that this response is offered with the utmost respect merely to offer a glimpse of my perspective in hopes it may give you pause to contemplate

in my understanding All Entities are Created beings
the Mother Father Creative source is not a head honcho 'Principal' but a 'Principle'
and you and I and Buddah and Mohamad and Jesus and Joseph and Jason and James and Joe Shmoe are all portions of the Principle source that are responsible for the creation of all things other than us Lords that were found in the Image of that original source looking within at itself
and if worship truely be attention then I consider all my Brothers and sisters in flesh and elsewhere to be worthy of my attention and due all praise for thier journeys off into life from the Beginning
I consider all to be Gods of accomplishment or gods in thier awakenings
to me a god is not the creative father mother source
a god is one that has awakened to the true source within and become a NoThing except the consciousness and energy sojourner that is no longer identified as the body mind or spirit but as the ongoing creator due to having made real the knowledge and wisdom that allows release of all atachments except the Joy of being able to do
the Original meaning of God in those ancient Sumerian times was "those who could" "El" and it was written as the hieroglyphic winged circle
it is only when the Germainic "Barbarians" influenced the Roman made up religion that Gods took on image of personality head honcho ruler commanders on materialisticly expensive thrones with corporatic in boxes for smite or favor or exception orders to be sent forth like monday morning business directives through underlings

Those
and thier companions
can travel interdimensionally
can control thier every thought more than you can control the movements of your hand, foot or eyes
are in communication and co operation with other species that we couldnt even concieve of as having minds
I think I might want some of them on pedestals so that I can watch them in the midst of the crowds and catch everything they say (heh heh heh - trying to keep the mood here light)

Gawds I hope not
I got a few beaches and Islands and waterfalls I would want to show them
and I hope they will take a few coffee breaks in my nieghborhood on these sweet spring afternoons so I can dialogue and parlay with them a while
I would think This will make their job a lot easier.

Now that part I really like
we are the quantum Observers that are the Law of the Word which is to say the LORDS of CREATION
and we got all this stuff in our way which filters the Fathers riches out of the Kingdom which we are always in at the reach of our hands
we really got to clean the storage garages of our minds out and make some room

Huh? Last time I heard that line of thought was when I used to be in organized religion whose propaganda is notorious for teaching this very thing. There is NO one entity. Even if there were, why would any one entity desire to be worshipped and praised? I can only assume an ego manic which god is not. WE are ALL connected to god. We are ALL one with god. God is universal and we are all responsible for creating our world. There is NO separation between us and god.
I agree with Tstan that you are assuming too much with this first contact thing. And, for the record, there are those of us, like myself, who believe in the existence of other life forms. You would have to be living with your head in the sand if you believe that in this vast universe, we're the only ones here. That's just plain absurd. That being said, I, however, do not believe in this one particular vessel called the "Starship Capricorn" and one called "Helena". I won't bore you with the whys of that. I've already posted plenty already about that. So anyway, I hope you won't be ignorant enough to assume because of this that I am closed minded. If you do, then it is you who is closed minded.
Welcome aboard and happy posting. ![]()

Multiple choice question. Which of the following shows respect for others, their thoughts, their opinions and their pathways? Please circle one.

If any at all, it's only geniii who comes close to winning the prize.... in my humble opinion ![]()
However, for a freshman, I do feel that our new friend "The Thinker" is being a tad patronising in assuming that we haven't worked all this out for ourselves.
Nevertheless, welcome

Fair enough, guys.
I will be the first to admit that I do tend to think too much. It's a nasty habit but it is kind of hard to break when your very survival has more or less depended upon being able to reason my way through a few ... shall we say, emotionally trying times.
The problem I keep running into when trying to express myself is that the words do not exist for what I am trying to communicate. I once wrote a 3000 word dialogue to try to communicate one aspect of what I was trying to communicate in the original post but I really don't think you want that posted here.
When I speak of Creation I speak not only of each and every one of us (as aspects of Creation) but of the one, original source from which everything else came into being. It is up to us to learn how to love each and every aspect of Creation, from the smallest twinkling of thought to the most massive gollection of physical matter in this universe. The reason I made the original post is because something about this whole thing bugs me in a way. I don't mind what the "aliens" are doing; I just want to make sure the little guy - the common, ordinary man-on the-street does not get left out.

Defending, once again, when it isn't called for to be defended.
"Which of the following shows respect for others, their thoughts, their opinions and their pathways?"
Just because I didn't show "respect" doesn't mean that I displayed "disrespect".
Not everything has to be nicey-nicey. Sometimes you have to speak bluntly.
The Thinker can defend his concepts just fine. Stop trying to upset the flow of a natural conversation.

Unwanted Must Be Allowed, for Wanted to Be Received -
"Sometimes our physical friends express their desire for a less diverse Universe. They long for a place where there are not so many unwanted things, a place where more things are exactly as they prefer them to be. And we always explain that you did not come forth into this physical experience wanting to take all of the experiences that exist and whittle them down to a handful of good ideas upon which all of you agree, for that would lead to endedness, which cannot be. This is an expanding Universe, and all things must be allowed. In other words, for you to understand and experience what you desire, you must understand that which you do not desire, for, in order to be able to choose and focus, both must be present and understood."
You Did Not Come to Fix a Broken World -
"As you enthusiastically made the decision to come into this physical body and create in this way, you understood, from your Non-Physical vantage point, that this physical world was not broken and in need of repair and you did not come forth to fix it.
You saw this physical world as a creative environment in which you, and everyone else, could express yourselves creatively. And you did not come forth to try to get others to stop doing what they are doing and do something else. You came forth understanding the value in the contrast, and the balance in the variety.
Every physical Being on your planet is your partner in co-creation, and if you would accept that and appreciate the diversity of beliefs and desires—all of you would have more expansive, satisfying, and fulfilling experiences."
From chapters 16 and 17 of the teachings of Abraham from "Ask and It Is Given" by Esther Hicks
I've referred to this passage many times when I need to free myself from any judgements someone has made which I don't agree with and don't care to hash out either. These words have freed my soul to just "let it go". Afterall, the interpretation of our world is our own and unless we can read the heart of a person and therefore know the true intent, we really cannot judge (righteously) as Jesus has asked us to do. I enclose this passage because it seems to apply, in particular, to this thread. Somehow our posts got put on the chopping block and were judged when they should have been left alone. Sorry, but I don't see any disrespect posted.

As to why I fear that the common man might be left out let us simply say, without going into too many details, That I haveof the past 36 years struggling to overcome the hidden aspects of the traumatic brain injury scenario. The task has not exactly been made easy by those in positions of authority (mainly teachers) who did not think I could learn because my brain had been damaged - I have since earned two college degrees, with fairly respectable grade pont averages - and I have met a lot of people who say they want to help but when it comes right down to it they are unwilling to "put their money where their mouth is." I am, of course, concerned about being left out of the mix and "slipping through the cracks" (yet again) but more than that I want to make sure that no one is overlooked, most especially if they could really use some help.
Forgive me if my experiences do not shine a very bright light upon the face of humanity but that'sa the way it has been for most of the past 36 years.

I see. So you're concerned about YOU being left behind as well as others. I have not lived your life, but I can see that you have done something extraordinary in getting not one but two college degrees. Good for you! I sense that your heart is also pure in wanting to help others out there.

Seems to me that you do indeed "shine a very bright light upon the face of humanity". We all have something to offer to this world. God uses people like you. Through your own challenges with your brain injury I'm sure you have a unique persepctive on life that most of us will never get. Keep your eyes focused ahead and up and not down. No one can ever get lost in the shuffle if they're focused on what they truly want. Decide what you really want for yourself and others and then stay the course. If you get lost, just remember, we all have a map built into us that connects us to our god source. I'm glad you've joined our forum family and hope to get to know you better through the many topics we have. ![]()
